The 1000cc Precision injectors, Walbor 255 fuel pump and Excedy clutch are now installed. The vehicle was suppose to be tuned last week, but we ran into some issues.
The exhaust downpipe at one point has become bent upwards slightly. The angle it is now at causes it to rattle against the transfer case as you throttle hard. This in turn will set off the knock sensor in the engine.
So the new plan, is to build my own shorty exhaust. The plan is to duplicate the one run on Mark Berry's FP Evo, which uses a 6" long muffler, and exits out the passenger side just in front of the wheel. This will require relocation the oil cooler as well.
Still waiting on the arrival of the TRE diff. The wheels should be done this week, pending the rear shells come in. Hopefully be able to test fit the wheels and tires over the new brakes this week. And probably some pictures :D
Still unsure about ride height. I haven't decided if I want to slam it on the ground, or keep some height for clearance at various sites and for strapping down on the trailer.
